Check out our annual Drinking Water Quality Report 2007 (DWQR).  The DWQR is published annually in compliance with US Environmental Protection Agency regulations and NYS Public Health Law.  

The 2007 report is organized to include:

1. Water sources, amounts delivered, population served, and cost of water
2. Water treatment process
3. Health effects and individuals at-risk
4. Security Concerns
5. General Water Information
6. Water quality data
7. Detected contaminants
8. Non-detected contaminants
9. Major water system modifications completed the prior year.
10. Future plans for capital improvements
11. Water conservation measures.

Water purveyors are required to mail copies of these reports to each customer.  To reduce the cost of publication, The Commission, Cornell University and the City of Ithaca consolidate their information.
