At this time, there are no water use restrictions for our customers.
Due to low levels of water supplies in Fall Creek and Six Mile Creek, the City of Ithaca and Cornell University have put water use restrictions in place.
The Southern Cayuga Lake Intermunicipal Water Commission (SCLIWC), locally known as Bolton Point, draws water from Cayuga Lake and therefore has sufficient water available to supply our customers.
While water produced by SCLIWC can be transferred to the City of Ithaca and Cornell University water systems, currently we have not received any requests for water transfers.
