COVID-19 and Municipal Water
1. According to the World Health Organization, the presence of the virus has not been found in drinking water supplies.
2. Conventional treatment, which is practiced at Bolton Point, is very effective in virus removal and disinfection. We use chlorine as our disinfectant.
3. There is no need to purchase bottled water; you can use tap water, as usual.
4. There is no need to boil water.
